Is PlatformCon a virtual event?

Yes, PlatformCon is 100% virtual and will take place on June 9th and 10th, 2022. All talks are pre-recorded and there will be a live kick-off hosted as Youtube stream the morning of each day.

Are talks pre-recorded or live?

All talks are going to be pre-recorded, so you can choose to consume only the talks that are more interesting to you, at your own pace. In addition we will host 2 LIVE kick-offs, on each day, for both European (CEST) and American (EST) time zones.

At what time will the talks be streamed?

All talks are pre-recorded, so you will be able to watch them at your own pace, any time of the day. The only live streamed events will be the morning kick-offs (for both European and American).

What is the length of the talks?

All talks will be around 15mins long. Keynotes and technical deep dives will be longer (about 30mins). Some speakers will also host 2 talks.

Will there be scheduled slots where the speakers are available on Slack to answer questions?

Yes! You can find the scheduled slots for both European (CEST) and American (EST) time zones here. Choose the slot that’s more convenient for your time zone and ask our speakers anything you like (about platforms;)!

What's the difference between tracks and keynotes?

Keynotes are special talks that span across all track themes. Most talks however will be grouped into one of four conference tracks.

Will the kick-offs be live or pre-recorded?

Kick-offs will be live. There will be one session for the European timezone (CEST) and another one for the American timezone (EST). Check the full schedule here.
